Needlepoint magnets!
On a thrift trip not too long ago, I came across the motherload – or actually grandmother load – of vintage kitschy magnets. (I know it was “grandmother” because one of the magnets said so. This was a store that tends to get donations from singular sources, so I knew they were all from the same place.
As I searched for a fun, quick project to make for Valentine’s day, those magnets inspired me to make my own. So I used a motif from a cross stitch pattern to make this cute little authentically 80s Country Kitsch kitty.
Now I really want to find patterns for all the other ones I saw and make a whole bunch more!
